A Scalable Lineup to Fit Your Security Strategy
IDEAL systems are standalone, pre-wired access control modules designed for quick deployment and seamless integration. With five available models (BP, MD, OG, ATG, and AC), this product line supports multiple use cases and infrastructure setups, all while providing Isotec’s trademark reliability and flexibility.
All versions come with a standard 1,200 lb magnetic lock, significantly stronger than typical market options. IDEAL is designed with life safety in mind and conforms to all emergency egress requirements. These systems also include advanced wireless safeguards to prevent signal jamming or unauthorized access attempts.
IDEAL BP – Buzz In/Panic Lock
Perfect for general facility access or emergency lockdown needs, IDEAL BP includes:
- Voice prompts to guide users when the system is armed, disarmed, or grants access
- A touch-sensitive emergency exit button for safe and fast egress
- Pre-programmed wireless transmitter and receiver for plug-and-play setup
- Two modes:
- Buzz-In Mode: Doors remain locked and entry is remotely granted
- Panic Lock Mode: Instantly locks doors in emergencies where entrances are typically open
IDEAL MD – Metal Detection Integration
Enhance threat response at screening points by integrating directly with any metal detector:
- Automatically locks doors upon threat detection
- Manual reset required to reauthorize entry, ensuring oversight and control
- Ideal for fixed installations with permanent or semi-permanent screening systems
IDEAL OG – OPENGATE Integration
A Bluetooth-enabled version of IDEAL MD, purpose-built for use with portable screening systems:
- Seamless Bluetooth integration with OPENGATE weapons detector
- Automatically locks doors upon threat detection
- Manual override for lockdown or routine access control
IDEAL ATG – Anti-Tailgating Integration
Designed for facilities that require strict one-at-a-time entry, this model:
- Equipped with a standalone RFID keycard/pin pad system (supports up to 2000 users)
- Equipped with a door-mounted anti-tailgating system
- Locks doors automatically until credentials are verified
- Reduces risk of unauthorized piggybacking or crowding at secure access points
IDEAL AC – Access Control Integration
For day-to-day operations where staff or vendors need authenticated entry:
- Equipped with a standalone RFID keycard/pin pad system (supports up to 2000 users)
- Enables automatic access without manual unlocking
